Approximating positive solutions of nonlinear first order ordinary quadratic differential equations with maxima

Abstract


In this paper, we consider the initial value problem for first order nonlinear quadratic differential equations with maxima and we study the existence and approximation of the solutions. The main results are related to a recent hybrid fixed point theorem of Dhage (2014) in partially ordered normed linear spaces.
