Global dynamics in a chemostat with multiple resources and toxin

Abstract

A mathematical model for the dynamics of the bacterial population in response to toxin challenge is presented. Then it is developed  the theory by analyzing two extreme cases (no control and constant control) and the intermediate case. This leads to a local sufficient condition for treatment success ofwaste water. Also we give a condition for global treatment, supported by numerical simulations of the model.
