Abstract

Fusarium Oxysporum is a pathogenic plant causes two distinct types of symptoms: vascular wilts and root and crown rots. A wide variety of plants can be affected by Fusarium wilt caused by Fusarium Oxysporum. In this work, we propose a discrete mathematical model that describes the diseases caused by Fusarium Oxysporum, which has serious economic consequences and a negative impact on public health. We examine the optimal control problem concerning the number of plants infected by the fungus Fusarium Oxysporum. To show the important of the controls, we have made analytical estimates that are validated using simulations.
