On Yang means

Abstract

Two bivariate means introduced by Z.-H. Yang in [16] are studied. New representation formulas for the means under discussion are obtained. Several inequalities involving means under discussion are established. Most of the results derived in this paper are obtained with the aid of the Schwab-Borchardt mean.
