Abstract

Aim of this paper is to provide sufficient conditions for a sequence to be Cauchy in the setting of controlled fuzzy metric space. Further, we generalize the concept of Banach’s contraction principle by utilizing certain new contraction conditions and prove fixed point results of quadratic type. Additionally we provide a number of examples to validate our main results. Conclusively, we provide an important application to the conversion of solar energy to electric power.
