On the convergence and efficiency of a new contraction principle in fuzzy metric spaces

Abstract
In this paper, we introduce a new contraction principle that guarantees the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point in a complete fuzzy metric space. The efficiency of the proposed contraction is examined through the estimation of both prior and posterior errors, and its rate of convergence is illustrated with numerical examples.
