Complex dynamics of a discrete-time model with prey refuge and Holling type-II functional response
Abstract
The chaotic dynamics of a discrete-time predator-prey model with prey refuge and Holling type-II functional response are investigated. We investigate the system’s existence and local stability. Using bifurcation theory, it is demonstrated that the system experiences period-doubling bifurcation and Neimark-Sacker bifurcation. Furthermore, numerical simulations are carried out to demonstrate the compatibility with analytical conclusions as well as the system’s complexity.
