Modeling the age distribution of breast cancer patients of North-East India

Swapan Bhattacharjee, Surobhi Deka

Abstract

In this study four types of probability models are used, in order to find the best fitted model, namely Exponential, Gamma, Lognormal and Weibull. Goodness of fit measures are compared for each distribution using R programming. It is found that Gamma distribution provides the best fitted model.
