Characterization of probability distributions through contrast of generalized order statistics
Abstract
In this paper a general form of continuous probability distribution is characterized through conditional expectations of contrast of generalized order statistics, conditioned on a non-adjacent generalized order statistics. Further, some of its deductions are also discussed.
