Abstract

In this paper we have developed an SEIRS model for vector borne diseases, taking awareness about the disease as a factor. The model has been formulated and analysed, along with assessment of creating awareness about preventive measures for the disease. The behaviour of the model, the effect of awareness and the effect of the control measures taken have been studied by carrying out numerical simulation using MATLAB.
