Variable order nested hybrid multistep methods for stiff ODEs

Abstract


A family of variable order nested hybrid multistep method for the numerical integration of stiff initial value problems of an ordinary differential equation is presented in this paper. These methods possess high order with A-stability properties making it suitable for solving stiff problems. The method has been implemented on some non-linear problems.
