Coupled best proximity point theorems for mixed g-monotone mappings in partially ordered metric spaces

Abstract


In this paper, we establish existence and uniqueness of coupled best proximity point for a mixed g-monotone mapping satisfying the proximally coupled weak (ψ,φ) contraction in partially ordered metric spaces. The results presented in this paper generalize the results of Kumam et al. [Fixed point theory and applications 2014, 2014:107]. Also some examples and applications of the main results in this paper are given.
