Phytoplankton diffusive model with pulse and viral infection

Abstract

This paper deals with a reaction-diffusion-advection problem, which describes phytoplankton model with pulse and virus infection. Firstly, the corresponding periodic problem is considered, and the principal eigenvalues of periodic eigenvalue problems are calculated, and the conditions related to the eigenvalues for the existence of disease-free periodic solution are given. Finally, the asymptotic behavior of disease-free periodic solution is studied, and the sufficient conditions for extinction of virus and persistence of phytoplankton are obtained.
