Coupled fixed point theorem for weak compatible mappings in Menger spaces

Abstract

In this paper, we prove coupled fixed point theorems for a pair of weakly compatible mappings under -contractive conditions in Menger spaces without appeal to continuity of mappings. We support our result by providing a suitable example. At the end, we give an application of our result.
