A generalization of GP-metric space and generalized Gb-metric space and related fixed point results

Abstract

In the present article, a generalization of GP-metric space and generalized Gb-metric space has been introduced. In newly defined space, we study some properties and introduce some interesting and new concepts. Also, we present some fixed point results for various contraction mappings. Some consequences of these results are deduced in generalized Gb-metric spaces. We furnish multiple examples in support of new concepts, main results, and consequences.
